The base concept

With so many new exercises and fad diets, we’ve lost sight on what’s really important - real results for real people. In order to achieve results we must create the base, a foundation on which we can grow, from there consistency will be the key. Many people switch from program to program looking for a ‘magical workout’ to fast track us to our goals, however, progressive overload is the key to getting results out of any workout.

While new exciting exercises we’ve never seen before and challenges that include 100’s of reps can seem fun, sticking to a solid workout routine (that has been designed with experience and knowledge) over a sufficient period of time will be the quickest and most effective way to achieve your goals.

The basix concept

The standard exercise guideline for adults is 30 minutes a day of moderate exercise, however, many of us still struggle to find the time. With Base Basix all you need to do is follow the simple app that has been cleverly designed for your convenience. Each session is designed to last 1 hour and all the guessing work is done for you, choose either the home or gym guide (or both) and follow the 12-week detailed plan that has been carefully constructed. We keep things simple and intelligently designed to give you the most effective workouts in the selected period of time for your specific goals and needs.

The inspiration behind the plans

When I worked full time at a 9 - 5 job the only time I could find to train was on my lunch break. The long commute to and from work meant I had little time in the morning, and was too tired in the evening by the time I had travelled home and ate dinner.

For 2 years, at the start of my fitness journey I trained for 45 minutes, 5 times a week on my lunch break, which left the other 15 minutes for me to freshen up and eat before heading back to work. I was able to see great results in those few years and this is when I built my foundation, you see you don’t need to spend hours at the gym, you just need an effective plan in place and the determination to see it through. These guides were created for you, to fit within your lifestyle - not the other way around.

Build Your Base At Home is a progressive 12-week guide featuring 60 workouts designed to help you burn stubborn fat and tone up, all in the comfort of your own home!

This guide was created to help you achieve your fitness goals seamlessly as everything is outlined for you, meaning no more searching for workouts. All you’ll need is your bodyweight and some resistance bands, we recommend the Base Basix Short Band and Long band bundle.

We believe fitness should fit within your lifestyle, not the other way around. Our aim is to make fitness accessible for everyone so each session is designed to last an hour, so you can easily fit it in around your schedule whether you’re at home, a hotel or on the road.

Build Your Base At The Gym is a weight training focused program which has covered every inch of your workouts, meaning all you have to focus on is turning up.
